Since the beginning of May I have been bursting with excitement as I recently recorded 3 new songs with major label producer Tom Diesel. Tom resides in London where he regularly works for Sony, Universal, Warner Brothers and other major labels but took time out of his busy schedule to work on my independent project.
We originally met in LA through a mutual friend and instantly connected over a genuine passion for artistic integrity, and the desire to create something “timeless.”
With finals quickly approaching at Cal State Northridge, it was tough to get away but I visited my hometown for a short weekend to surprise my sister and attend her senior dance showcase. That weekend I received an email from Tom who told me he would be coming to LA the following week. He asked if I would like to record and I explained that I was currently in my hometown but I would absolutely love to when I returned to LA.
Tom proceeded to ask where my hometown was, so I described the small mountain town of Nevada City, CA nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Long story short, Tom got on a plane the next day and flew from London to arrive in Nevada City, where we produced 3 songs in the comfort of my childhood home.
The entire experience was so immensely inspiring as I watched Tom work his magic. He is the breathing example of an individual who has a genuine passion for what he does. While working with Tom I was reminded that human connection and the pursuit of passion is far more valuable than a paycheck.
In June I will be releasing a cover of Wicked Games by Chris Isaak, with two originals to follow.
Currently, I am in the production process of the first music video, and I am beyond thankful for my agency support at MSA Models as well as the team of individuals who will be assisting, all of whom I have met during the time I have been living in Los Angeles.
It is amazing to think that I moved to LA last June, and one year later I will be releasing brand new music. I wouldn’t trade the experience, opportunity, or lessons learned in the last year for anything and I am so incredibly excited to share what I have been working on!
With love and passion always,
